It functions as a modulation circuit, with an integrated control op amp Single-Ended Modulation Voltage Up to 3VP-P externally programmed by a DC voltage. Differential Modulation Voltage Up to 6VP-P A high-bandwidth, fully differential signal path is inter- Selectable Data-Retiming Latch nally implemented to minimize jitter accumulation. Whena clock signal is available, the integrated data-retiming Up to 10.7Gbps Operation function can be selected to reject input-signal jitter. 50 On-Chip Input and Output Terminations The MAX3942 receives differential CML signals (ground- Pulse-Width Adjustment referenced) with on-chip line terminations of 50.
