74VHC132 -- Quad 2-Input NAND Sc December 2007 74VHC132Quad 2-Input NAND Schmitt Trigger Features General Description High Speed: t = = PD 3.9ns (Typ.) at VCC 5V The VHC132 is an advanced high speed CMOS 2-input Power down protection is provided on all inputs NAND Schmitt Trigger Gate fabricated with silicon gate Low power dissipation: I = = CMOS technology. It achieves the high-speed operation CC 2µA (Max.) at TA 25°C similar to Bipolar Schottky TTL while maintaining the Low noise: V = OLP 0.8V (Max.) CMOS low power dissipation. Pin configuration and Pin and function compatible with 74HC132 function are the same as the VHC00 but the inputs have hmitt hysteresis between the positive-going and negative-going input thresholds, which are capable of transform-ing slowly changing input signals into sharply defined, Trig jitter-free output signals. Thus greater noise margin thenconventional gates is provided. An input protection ge circuit ensures that 0V to 7V can be applied to the input r pins without regard to the supply voltage. This devicecan be used to interface 5V to 3V systems and twosupply systems such as battery backup. This circuitprevents device destruction due to mismatched supplyand input voltages.
