LMH0202 June 2006 LMH0202 Dual Dual SMPTE 292M / 259M Serial Digital Cable Driver SMPTE General Description Features The LMH0202 Dual SMPTE 292M / 259M serial digital cable n SMPTE 292M, SMPTE 344M and SMPTE 259M driver is a monolithic, high-speed cable driver designed for compliant use in SMPTE 292M / 259M serial digital video and ITU-T n Data rates to 1.485 Gbps G.703 serial digital data transmission applications. The n Dual differential inputs 292M LMH0202 drives 75 transmission lines (Belden 8281, n Dual 75 differential outputs Belden 1694A or equivalent) at data rates up to 1.485 Gbps. n Two selectable slew rates The LMH0202 provides two selectable slew rates for n Adjustable output amplitude SMPTE 259M and SMPTE 292M compliance. The output n Single 3.3V supply operation / voltage swing is adjustable via a single external resistor. 259M n Commercial temperature range: 0°C to +70°C The LMH0202 offers the flexibility to implement either dual n Typical power consumption: 250mW in SD mode and differential inputs or a single differential input (externally 298mW in HD mode routed via PCB) to dual differential outputs. The latter optionprovides an ideal solution for DVB-ASI applications where Applications Serial only the non-inverted outputs are typically used. The LMH0202 is powered from a single 3.3V supply.
