These release notes provide important information about the motor control firmware library package for STM32F103xx release 2.0. These release notes are updated periodically in order to keep you abreast of evolutions of the software and any problems or limitations found in this release. STM32F103xx motor control firmware library components The firmware library package includes the following software: PMSM FOC software library, version 2.0 AC induction motor FOC software library, version 2.0 Note that the PMSM (permanent-magnet synchronous motor) software library and the ACIM (AC induction motor) software library are not available for download from the STMicroelectronics website. You can obtain them by contacting your nearest STMicroelectronics sales office or support team.Moreover, concerning the PMSM FOC software library, the MC_State_Observer and MC_FOC_Methods modules, which are the engine of the sensorless algorithm and the additional vector control features, respectively, are provided as compiled object files. The source code is available free of charge from ST on request: please, contact your nearest ST sales office.
