74VHCU04 -- He February 2008 74VHCU04Hex Inverter x In Features General Description ver High Speed: t = = PD 3.5ns (typ.) at VCC 5V The VHCU04 is an advanced high speed CMOS Inverter ter Low Power Dissipation: I = = fabricated with silicon gate CMOS technology. It CC 2µA (max.) @ TA 25°C High Noise Immunity: V = = achieves the high speed operation similar to equivalent NIH VNIL 28% VCC (min.) Bipolar Schottky TTL while maintaining the CMOS low Power down protection is provided on all inputs power dissipation. Low Noise: V = OLP 0.8V (max.) Since the internal circuit is composed of a single stage Pin and Function Compatible with 74HCU04 inverter, it can be used in analog applications such ascrystal oscillators. An input protection circuit ensures that0V to 7V can be applied to the input pins without regardto the supply voltage. This device can be used to inter-face 5V to 3V systems and two supply systems such asbattery backup. This circuit prevents device destructiondue to mismatched supply and input voltages.
