The n Upgrade and Compatible to LMX233xL Family LMX233xU devices are designed for use as RF and IF local n 2.7V to 5.5V Operation oscillators for dual conversion radio transceivers. PLLatinum n Selectable Synchronous or Asynchronous Powerdown A 32/33 or a 64/65 prescale ratio can be selected for the 2.5 Mode: GHz LMX2330U RF synthesizer. A 64/65 or a 128/129 pres- I = 1 µA typical CC-PWDN cale ratio can be selected for both the LMX2331U and n Selectable Dual Modulus Prescaler: LMX2332U RF synthesizers. The IF circuitry contains an 8/9 LMX2330U RF: 32/33 or 64/65 or a 16/17 prescaler. Using a proprietary digital phase locked LMX2331U RF: 64/65 or 128/129 loop technique, the LMX233xU devices generate very LMX2332U RF: 64/65 or 128/129 stable, low noise control signals for RF and IF voltage con- LMX2330U/31U/32U IF: 8/9 or 16/17 Ultra trolled oscillators. Both the RF and IF synthesizers include a n Selectable Charge Pump TRI-STATE® Mode two-level programmable charge pump. The RF synthesizer n Programmable Charge Pump Current Levels has dedicated Fastlock circuitry. RF and IF: 0.95 or 3.8 mA Serial data is transferred to the devices via a three-wire n Selectable FastlockTM Mode for the RF Synthesizer Low interface (Data, LE, Clock).
