Specially suited for standard- Channel Devices definition video signals, these devices are ideal for a o 8.5MHz, ±1dB Passband wide range of television and set-top box applications. o 55dB Attenuation at 27MHz The video signals from the outputs of a digital-to-analog o Fixed Gain of 2V/V converter (DAC) are AC-coupled to the inputs of the o MAX9586­MAX9589. External video signals, in which Low Power: 4.25mA per Channel the DC bias is usually not known, can also be AC-cou- o 2.7V to 3.6V Single-Supply Operation pled to the inputs of the MAX9586­MAX9589. The input o Small SOT23 and µMAX Packages sync-tip clamps set the DC level of composite video orluma signals, and the input bias circuits set the DClevel of chroma signals. Ordering Information The reconstruction filter typically has ±1dB passbandflatness at 8.5MHz and 55dB attenuation at 27MHz. The PIN- PKG PART CHANNELS amplifiers have 2V/V gain and the outputs can be DC- PACKAGE CODE coupled to a 75 load, which is the equivalent of two MAX9586AZK+T 5 Thin SOT23-5 1 Z5-1 video loads, or AC-coupled to a 150 load.
